Liveries 1st January 2009Livery

Standard Livery @  £91.85 per week*

Includes:-

  • 2 feeds per day (supplements not included)
  • Brought-in to a feed of fast fibre or a play ball with Quiet Pencils
  • Ad-lib hay (soaked & provided in hay nets) – last net 9pm
  • Stables with rubber matting and 1/3 straw bed
  • Turn out daily for minimum 4 hours, except when we think conditions are unsafe for the horses due to weather, ground or outside influences (ie local hunt - boxing day)
  • Rug changes, last rug change 8pm (except in extreme weather conditions)
  • Muck out, skip out throughout day and evening.
  • Feet picked out
  • Legs washed when necessary from field mud, to check for cuts
  • Use of all facilities
  • Last check 9:30pm – plus play ball with Quiet Pencils
  • Holding for farrier, vet, dentists etc – when prearranged at a time to suit Phoenix staffing levels. Cheque / money to be left for farrier.
     
Premium Livery

 Premium Livery @ £107.31 per week**

 As per Standard Livery, plus

  • Daily groom/wash to remove mud and clean stable stains from legs
  • Tack cleaned weekly (1 saddle, 1 bridle)
  • Grooming kit washed monthly
  • Small rugs/fleeces, numnahs, bandages & head-collars washed when needed
  • Mane & Tail wash and/or bath when required if weather warm enough.
  • Holding for farrier etc and payment (to be invoiced with monthly livery bill).
  • Free emergency use of basic first aid facilities.
  • Late night rug changes (drying off) if needed.
  • Walking out to grass if not turned out during the day
  • Lunging, loose schooling or walking out for up to 3 days per week

  Extras:

  • Haylage  £30 per month
  • None straw bedding charged at cost (1/3 bed)
  • Wormer charged at cost.
  • Full bed £15 per month for removal, plus additional bedding charged at cost (this includes straw). Note – a full bed will still allow floor space for water, feed and forage.
  • All other activities charged at the hourly rate of £8.15

Premium livery will usually be available for the occasional week if prearranged at a cost of £120 per week.
*  Equates to £398 per calendar month

First Aid kits
Please will all Standard Liveries ensure they have basic first aid supplies available for use on their horse as part of their grooming kit. If yard supplies have to be used these will be charged out at cost ( covered in rate for Premium livery)
